Is it true RIS used for installing only windows2000 pro, and Not windows2000 server, is that correct?

well, the official M$ Way.....yes.
However, there is a Registry hack available on the Net to install Win2000 Server remotely.

Oh, by the way, WinXP is also available to be RIS installed.

is not allowed and have some logic. why you must want to depliy 3000 servers computers? this is why RIS was designed to deploy workstations only...... this is why only 2k pro and xp pro are allowed to use RIS.

for a 2k server, enough is with unatended installations. not only that, you can make a unatended AD installation too!
