| You are the administrator of a Windows 2000 network.
Forsaken is leaving the company and is being replaced by Bob. You want to deny Forsaken access to the network and assign Bob the same level of access that Forsaken had.
How can you accomplish this with the least amount of administrative effort? (Select the best choice)
A. Copy Forsaken's user profile to Bob's new user account.
B. Rename Forsaken's user account to Bob, and change the password.
C. Delete Forsaken's user account, create a new user account for Bob, and assign it the same permissions that Forsaken's account was assigned.
D. Disable Forsaken's user account, create a new user account for Bob, and assign it the same permissions that Forsaken's account was assigned.
Good luck and see you tomorrow for the answer!! | |

| B would be best. But you would also have to set the password options to force bob to change his password the first time he logged on. | |

| By changing the account name to Bob, that would give him the correct permissions as well as denying Forsaken any access to resources.
peace out

And the answer is......B
Renaming Forsaken's user account to Bob and changing the password would accomplish the goal with the least amount of administrative effort. Also, as christo78 stated, we would also want to set Bob's user account up so that Bob would be forced to change his password the first time he logged on to the network. (I should have included that in the answer, thanks christo )
Nice job everyone! |
