| I recently bought a Lexar USB Universal Reader and after I install the software an plug the device in I get a BSoD stating the infamous IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL_TO. See picture below. Any ideas on what could be wrong?

| Hmm, try giving the everyone group full control over the drive you are installing the software to. By default, the drives have everyone full control already, but if you messed around with it then you may need to set it back. Doesn't look like "System" account has the proper permissions to unload the registry. I've fixed other "Access denied" message by doing that. Let us know after you try it. | |

| EVERYONE group was already there with full control. I also added the SYSTEM group with full control, now let's see what happens. | |

| Everyone includes the system group (pretty sure) so thats probably not going to fix it. I'm out of ideas. | |

Spid's been sick with a nasty cold this weekend.
Per EventID.net there looks like there are quite a few possiblities and workarounds to try.

Scroll down about 3/4 of the way down to the event ID 1000 that cooresponds to the exact message you are getting.
Good luck. | |

| Let's give it a rip now, I've changed the group policy. | |
