| Remember it's Valentine's Day, so if you have a sweetie, don't forget to do something nice for them or get them a little something special. http://www.stopstart.freeserve.co.uk/smilie/heart.gif
You are the administrator of a network supporting Windows 2000 computers. You want to apply a mandatory user profile to the Supervisors group.
You create a user account named Supervisor to create the profile. What else should you do? (Choose two.)
Hint - don't over analyze the question, I want to create a mandatory profile so what do I need to do.
A. Log on as Supervisor, and configure the appropriate desktop environment settings.
B. Log on as Administrator, and configure the appropriate desktop environment settings.
C. Log on as Supervisor, and rename Ntuser.dat file in C:\Documents and Settings\Supervisor to Ntuser.man
D. Log on as Administrator, and rename the Ntuser.dat file in C:\Documents and Settings\Supervisor to Ntuser.man
Good luck, have a nice weekend and see you Monday for the answer!!

| Hmmmm...looks like we've got a little disagreement between B,D and A,D going on | |

| I don't know how you log as "Supervisor" in 2000, but if there is a way please let me know. | |
| sgirardo 2003-02-15, 10:29 pm |
| Doh!
Looks like I got another one wrong.
You said not to over analyze.
How about under analyze?
Yes it would be A & D.
If you did B & D you would have created a mandatory profile for the administrator account.

Enter Supervisor for user, enter password. You're logged on as "Supervisor"
It's the account you just created, not a default account.

The answers I was looking for were...A and D.
The question stated that you created a user account called "Supervisor". To create a mandatory profile for this account, you would log in as supervisor and configure the desktop environment. You could then log in as Administrator and then rename the C:\Documents and Settings\Supervisor\ntuser.dat to ntuser.man.
I know the question may not have been the greatest one, but I try The basic jist of the question is to know how to create a mandatory profile. If you understand that, you'll be fine for any quesitons you might encounter on the exam. |
