Is there anybody have tried EdgeTests Q's.
As I am preparing to start taking exams soon,
I am study using Sybex MCSE 2001,each book came with a CD contains many of EdgeTests.

is this type of Q's reflect MS exam.

And what about MS "MCSE readiness review 2000" is it still the same type of Q's the coming in the exam, or changed.

The last Q is:
I have registered with VUE to take the first exam, in the confirmation they informed me that I have 145 minutes plus 30 minutes (for none English speakers) to do exam, does that means that my exam is not adaptive.

I have heard that the exam is "adaptive", so the time for the exam is not an issue, and in an adaptive exams you can "take your time" in any question.

Is the adaptive exams apply only in some countries and not another depend on the country language?

Can anybody explain that for me please?

thank you

70210 is a standard exam. anyway you can find several different exams with different number of questions. if you check the examnotes forum you can see people with 51 q exams and people with 43 q exams.

the adaptive option is only time referece. i have the same issue as you, because mexico is not a natural eng language country. i made 5 exams from MS until now and all exams haver 30 min more compared with normal exam time, and this is because the "non english speak nat country".

on MS exams you can make reviews, go back, and donīt have a specific time for questions.

maybe for .NET exams the things can be changed, but by now, you can be sure the exams are standard format and you have the normal time more 30 min and the survey time is not counted.

ON all my MS exams i use the following strategy:

every time i see a VERY wordy question or very complex question i mark it as REVIEW.......

i answer all questions..... at end, i click review and dedicate more time and efforts on this hard questions.......

So also there is the possibility to mark any quetion, that's goos news as that very helpfull, it looks like the "MCSE readiness preview" reflicts the original exam, cause it has the same "mark quetion" check box.

the exams is similar to trascender...... in the real exam you can see 2 checkboxes on each question: the review and the comments........ after finish your question and before clicking on END exam, you click REVIEW question and you see a list of all question marked.

The questions on the readiness review are not very similar to the questions in the exam. The VUE testing engine has been changed several times in the past years. (It has been changed several times when I was on the NT4 track). IMO, the most similar engine is EasyCert. You can downlad a demo and try it. Also, questions in easycert are very similar to the questions in the exam.

Good luck!
