Hi,

I would like to reach the level of MSCA and am wondering what the best box set to buy?

I would like to take the self study option yet would like to ask about study habits? How does one study the book?

Once you finish the book, how do you know you are prepared for the exam?

Please help me out...

Thanks in advance,

Spiros

My suggestion has four parts:

1. Buy a good book- many are out there. Personally, I used M$ Administrator's Companion.

2. Get a few computers together that you can use as a test lab. One computer will work, but it would be much more beneficial if you could work with 3 or more.

3. Buy material from www.cbtnuggets.com
They have nothing to do with the exams, but it is great for actually learning how to install and administer all the services in W2K. When you go on their site, they have a section where you can request a free CD from them to test out their product.

4. Take practice tests. When studying, make sure you understand WHY an answer is correct and WHY the others are wrong. If you don't understand why, study that section in your book again and play with it on the computer.

If you do the above, you'll be ready for any of the tests.

Good luck.

Hope that helps.
