Hi Guys,

We are trying to configure a winXP box to run a certain program at startup, everytime the computer is switched on.
We also need to be pretty strict about how it can be used, so basically, we need it to log on as a certain account, then once it is running, it is necessary to make it so that the user can not quit out of the application, or use the computer in any other way. (Looking at drivesetc.)
Any ideas?
Can this all be done using gpo's?

yes, looks like it.
go to start>run>gpedit.msc.
look at the Windows settings>Scripts (Startup/Shutdown.
doubleclick on startup Properties> add...(browse to whatever you want to run @ startup)

and so on.

You should then be able to fine-tune it with, perhaps the local security settings.

Try it out.
