Hi,
I have a problem using CD-ROM device:
After I'm putting the CD-ROM in the tray, the usage light being lit, and I will see the icon of CD-ROM in "My Computer". But after that (the light being lit some times about 5 seconds), the CD-ROM will be dropped out from the tray without letting me reading data from the CD-ROM. Would you please tell me how can I solve this problem?
P.S The device is installed and I can see the normal icon in the "Device Manager".

Thank you
Neka M. Asadi

No CD-ROMs were read.
I have converted my "Basic Disk" to "Dynamic Disk" do you think that the faulty is because of this?

tips:

* try with several cd media
* test the cdrive on another pc
* test the cdrive as different settings (master / slave)
* disable udma of the cd
* check the cd on DOS
* clean the lens of the cdrive with a cd cleaner disk.
