| Just got back from the testing center with 210 result of PASSED. Its good to finally get the first test notched. I took some practice tests on certutor.net a couple days before the test date I had register for and I was only getting 65-70 on some of the tests. So I was bracing myself for the worst. The real thing wasn't as bad. Most of the questions weren't as wordy or convoluted. I'd say about 70% of the questions I was positive on and another 10-15 I was pretty sure on. Then there were a few complety obscure or nonsensical. One or two of them I swear did not give enough info to choose between the two best choices. Anyway I guess there designed as builtin losses?
I guess its customary to state prep. I did take at a mid level course for windows at my school when I first started using the OS, 7-8 months. Did a lot of more indepth labs on my own. Started working on a networking internship partime recently which helped alot. Getting practice making things work in 'the real world'. And spent the last couple months scouring the web for every last stinkin practice test(very important to help you get use to catching little details some of the questions can be really tricky if you don't read carefully) doing qotd - thanks a million spid, I knew when you included my name in a QOTD I was ready for the exam Well thats my rundown guys, Im pumped! | |

No correlation at all, at least none that I am aware of. My "nickname" comes from when I was working at my last IT postion. One of my end-users dubbed me that because when he had a problem, I would always "fixit". Hence the moniker. Pretty soon after, the majority of my end-users, (over 300), were calling me that. I even had a "mrfixit" nameplate made for my office door. 
Hope this clears things up. But now I will have to check out this "mrfixt" website, might have possible copyright case! | |
