in my simple lab, i have one NT server 4.0 as PDC with IP address of 192.168.1.1

Windows Me is our Internet connections sharing with IP address of 192.168.0.1

hPlASEJET 8100 PRINTER configured as netowrk printer with IP address of 192.168.1.30

i have 3 windows 2k Prof. as with IP address (192.168.0.2,192.168.0.3 etc..)clients PC connected to share folder of NTserver with capable for asccessing internet connections in Windows Me (ICS,), also can print to the printer server. TCP/IP and NetBEUI are the protocol installed on those client PCs.

the problem was i have one Windows XP Professional with TCP and NEtbEUI protocol. once dis XP configured as 192.168.0.4 for internet connections is working fine but i can't print but i can brwose the shred folder. when i used 192.168.1.5 (any host number) i can browse the shared folder and can send the hardcopy to the printer server.
i short subnet zero (0) for internet and shared resources and subnet (1) is for printer and shared folder.

i reinstalled TCP/IP two times thingking that there's problem but i didn't succeedd.

how can i used winXP both for Internet access, shared folder and printing to the network printer without changing the IP address.

anybody's who will help on this issue is very much appreciated.

tanx!!!!

When do you plan to publish the White Paper on how you have achieved routing an unrouteable protocol?

Hes making a mistake because he says he uses only netbeui but he gave us IP addresses for all devices...

Maybe you can put your XP box in the 192.168.0.x subnet like it is and try putting your Windows Me machine as the default gateway (192.168.0.1 if I remember). Maybe this will fix your problem.

The thing also is you should use dynamic ip addressing if you use ICS on a machine..
