| anyone took the cna exam? how is it compared to the windows 2000 pro and server exams? what type of questions are asked? | |

| I'm no expert but a guy i graduated with went and took his CNA and the way he described it, the test was not hard but the main difference is that the Test can be passed just by reading the book, because the questions are not as complex and long as the microsoft exams... | |

| I took the IntraNetware 4.11 CNA test back in
1997, and it wasn't difficult. 15 questions, and only 2 were "drag-and-drop, performance-type"
questions. I don't know how different the NW5.1 or
6 CNA test is now, though.
I'm just starting to study for the 2000 Pro test, and the practice test I've looked at so far are WAY more difficult than the CNA exam I took. I'm
using the M$ Press books/CD's and the "Question of
The Day" from this site.
The CNA test had a lot of short questions that
required only one word answers, if that makes sense.

| I have heard that the CNA tests usually ask questions related to Novell Netware, whereas the Windows 2000 tests deal with Microsoft networking. I hope that clears that up. | |
|
| My understanding is that neither will give you a job, but that the Novell ones won't even get you an interview | |

| CNA was about as easy as doing the A+.
I think it took me about 30 mins.
I found Microsofts exams to be a lot harder.

| CNA 5 was a lot harder than the 210 and 215. I took SQL Server 7 Admin afterwards and that came on par with the CNA exam. | |

| Hey, Freak. My CNE5 got me a nice raise
a few years ago. Now my kids use it as a
target to shoot their foam darts at! :-)
|
| LOL
There is no respect in this world!
My two MCSEs got me $30000 raises in total. Not bad for a bunch of tests...

| Great job freak, i guess you got funds back from all those tests huh? | |
|
| I paid for the first bootcamp out of pocket, and the second MCSE was paid for by my employer. Not a bad overall gig |
