Hello I was just wondering if anyone can recommmend a place I can go and read current reviews on books for taking the win 2k Pro 70-210 test? I would like to buy one this weekend.

I seen many folks like newriders/sybex/etc. I have a couple of win2k books, but nothing for exam study realy. Yes I read some post and reviews but they seemed old, and not sure if the books were revised etc. Also if you are studying now which book are you using? thanks for any replies, I appreciate it.

for nt 4 I use ms press, pretty good.
heard bad reviews about ms press and 2k, so I took sybex. They seem to fair well for now, easy to read. I always use exam cram, doe sometimes inacurate, but since I read it last, I can flush those out...

I have the MS Press Training Kits and the Sybex (2nd Edit) books. I think Sybex, while normally an excellent source for study guides, left out some pretty valuable information in their text. I am going to be taking a formal course next month and the school uses the MS Press Kits. Many folks here on the forum like the New Riders books also. For reviews, check www.amazon.com. I think bookpool now gives reviews on their site too (www.bookpool.com).

Personally, I am sticking with the MS Press book - if something is still unclear then I'll look into the Sybex book for clarification. If both resources fail to clearly explain a concept to me then I will turn to my copy of "...for Dummies". While it doesn't get a lot of mention here in the forums, the Dummies series is actually very nicely done. The author has included some light jokes to break up the monotony of the reading, but some of those jokes stick with you and help you remember the point the author was trying to make.

And, of course, these forums are the best place to get ultimate clarification for anything still left muttled in my brain.

I've said it before, I think this is a great book!
