I want to take the 70-210 exam. It seems that learning all the necessary fundamentals on my own, means that I need to obtain win2k server, set up DNS and DHCP servers, and know Active Directory.

On the 70-210 exam, why are they asking so many RIS questions? Do I just need to understand how it works? Or do i need to completely understand how to perform RIS, on hundreds to thousands of machines? Although I've never PERFORMED an RIS, it can't be that hard. Have a seperate partition for RIS, make a bootdisk (for non-pxe nics) and running a few wizards, doesn't sound too difficult.

I feel cornered, as if a force is making me pay $10k+ to just TAKE the course at school. I really want my MCP status though

I am in the same boat ,and I think that just knowing the principle will be enough I did the basic stuff with the unattended with the win2k pro .But with no server no can do the rest of the stuff .

For the 215 gonna have to think of something.

Best of Luck.
