2000 Professinoal Not seeing Server

| I am running a 2000 Advanced Server using a linsys router to use DSL for the Net however my 98 box see's the server fine however a 2000 Professional Box does not see the server | |

| Hmmm. First question I would have is are you sure they are all part of the same workgroup or if you made the Server a DC, is the 2000 box part of that domain? Are you logging on to the domain or the local machine? | |

| ...next question after that would be if you’re using TCP/IP and/or NetBEUI? If you are using TCP/IP are you on the same subnet? Are you using DHCP? Have you checked all physical connections on the 2k machine? Have you pinged the loopback and server/win98 box from the 2k machine? |
