| Actually not a problem, but just a plainful job.
IP address resign by the IP, because the company is running out of IP address. WHY?
Static. Complex issue with the Senior technican.
"Fix up the network using DHCP is on your own risk" by his door sign.

| I'm not exactly sure what your asking but I've never had a problem with DHCP, I always use static addys on the servers add those address' to the excluded list and let all the other machines get theirs dynamically
and if your running out of address' DHCP ain't gonna help
if your using the private range (192.168.x.x) try changing it to 172.16.x.x that'll give you quite a bit more to work with.
but that presents the problem of going to each machine and changing the ip manually which could be a pain in the XXX | |
