| What exactly does the Pass/Fail Grading System mean, I've not heard of this before. My exam is in 2 days. | |

| It means you won't know that the passing score is, you won't know at the end of the exam how much you scored. You'll only know whether you pass or fail.
Good luck for your exam.

| So, is P/F in effect now or ..
Is it still base exam or adaptive?

| quote: Microsoft exams might include adaptive testing technology and simulation items. Microsoft does not identify the format in which exams are presented. Please use the exam objectives listed in this preparation guide to prepare for the exam, regardless of its format. Before registering for this exam, please learn more about adaptive testing and simulations, and download samples, on the Testing Innovations page.
The above paragraph can be found in preparation guide of almost all the exams. However, all the exams that I've taken were non-adaptive. Fixed number of questions, fixed time given.
Pass/Fail system is implemented in new exams. I've taken 218 and 228 recently and both of them were Pass/Fail. For old exams, they'll be changed to Pass/Fail once Microsoft changes the question pool.
That's from what I know.
