Does anyone have an opinion on the Fravo Practice Exams? They seem legit, but I want to make sure they are not just a glorified brain dump. I for one do not support dumps at all. I have no need to memorize someone else's (maybe wrong) answers!

Wishing everyone a happy, Klez-free Thursday! I know it keeps trying to barge its way (unsuccessfully) into my network!

Some people do like Fravo. I say try Transcender alongside a good book always

I have the Transcender for 70-210, the Sybex & the Exam Cram books. (In addition, my network is 100% pure Win2K) I am always on the lookout for other material to help me in my studies.

There is nothing wrong to memorizing question and answers but was is wrong is those who feel that is all is needded to be MCP or any other test for that matter and bragging that they are "certified" when in fact it takes months with books and hand-on practice to acquire a true CERT.And at the end feel much better for it.

I try to memorize as much as possible myself but it's almost impossible without the understanding of the subject all the answers are so close to each other specialy multiple choice .

Anyway it looks like you got good materials and wishing you best of luck.Download as many study guide as possible they vary in many ways to explain the same thing .

Hey D Walters,

I had used several of the Fravo exam study guides when I originaly did my Windows NT track and I was very happy with them. Back then, they gave you about 50 pages of reading preps of what they thought was important to know (CramSession PDF style) and then had about 100 test questions at the end. Their test questions where their own creation and I really liked them, (they were NOT braindumps & I never had any of their questions on my MS exams), so I did learn from them just the same! I would suggest trying their FREE 70-215 Microsoft W2K Server exam to see if you like their format and style. Just be sure to use them as an additional study guide along with your normal reading book(s) and NOT your only source! I noticed their price is still cheap at $20 bucks, the NT exam guides where ONLY $15, so I will give them another shot myself. Thanks for reminding me about them!

I agree. You can go with fravo or transender, but make sure you study well.

I have the sybex book for the 70-210 exam and have downloaded the 4 testprep exams for $35. I seem to be only just passing these exams. Does anyone know if they are similar to the real thing and would it be better if I bought the exam cram book or some more tests?

TIA
