| Hey folks...
I'm taking my first MCP exam on Tues 26th and I'm wondering how much on "Win2000 Installation" I should know for 70-210...
Should I memorise all of the switches for winnt.exe and winnt32.exe? etc..
what do you ppl recommend? I'll do whatever is necessary!
Thanx | |

| It's been a while since I took this one, but I would say to definately know when winnt and winnt32 are used. Don't think they go into too much detail on switches but it would be a good idea to know them. Try taking some of the on-line sample exams a day or so before your exam.
What did you use for study material?

| I used MS Training Kit... Exam Cram and i've already done a few practice exams...
I've also got a Client/Server network setup as a practice lab at home...

Know RIS and Sysprep. I had around 5 or 6 questions on RIS.

| I used the Transcender practice exams, one Sybex study book, and books online. After 2 weeks of study, I took the real thing and got a score of 720. Not great, but a comfortable pass. BTW I am not a network pro, just a guy wishing to broaden his knowledge of MS systems and networking.
