COMSETUP.LOG:
Installation of Optional Component Manager and COM+ components.

MMDET.LOG:
Detection log of multimedia devices.

NETSETUP.LOG:
Logs information on the joining of a workgroup or domain.

winnt32.log:

For Win2K to Windows NT 4.0 or NT 3.51 upgrades, Setup saves the report to a winnt32.log file in the installation folder.

And the answer is ....

Correct Answers: B

A. Incorrect: Use COMSETUP.LOG to troubleshoot COM component installation.

B. Correct: Use MMDET.LOG to troubleshoot multimedia device detection and resource allocation. It contains the port ranges for each multimedia device.

C. Incorrect: Use NETSETUP.LOG to troubleshoot network computer name, workgroup, or domain detection errors.

D. Incorrect: WINNT32.LOG is the output file generated on computers running Windows NT or Windows 2000 when you run the Microsoft Windows 2000 Readiness Analyzer or you type winnt32/checkupgradeonly.
