You send me a link refering to the requeriments of the Microsoft Application Center 2000 (Application Center). Its this the same that the Cluster Services in Windows 2000?
I search for several hours in the Microsoft site and i donīt found the information that i need.
I try to search in several metasearchers and nothing!!!
Fortunately, i found in my MOC book from the Course number 2087A (Implementing Microsoft Windows 2000 Clustering) and in module 3, page 9 i found:
"each node in a cluster require all the requirements for win2k adv server, plus the following requeriments specifics to cluster service:
- Dual PCI bus
- Pci disk controller
- Separate disk controller from the OS that must be used for the shared data bus
- A minimum of one NIC (2 recommended!!!)
- AN EXTERNAL DISK THAT IS CONNECTED TO BOTH COMPUTERS THAT THE CLUSTER WILL USE AS THE SHARED DISK!!
- Cables and terminators to attach the disk to both computers and properly terminate the bus.
You can see the difference about the information that provide the link that you put in the posts, and this information. I try to locate similar info in another sites but i feel that the info are very restricted!!! Thanks for your help!! |
