Nice easy one today .....

Q26. By default, members of which group can manually install a driver on a computer running Windows 2000 Professional? (Choose all that apply)

A. Administrators.

B. Backup Operators.

This is my first Microsoft exam. I have the 70-215 next week.

A on this one. Only Administrators can install the OS and components, (i.e. drivers). Power Users can only install programs that do not modify system files or install system services.

mmm... that's what I thaught... the choose all that applies tricked me... I think only administrators can install drivers

Correct Answers: A

A. Correct: After the operating system is installed, the Administrators group is the only group able to manually install device drivers on a computer running Windows 2000 Professional. Administrators can perform any and all functions supported by the operating system. Members of the Administrators group are able to grant themselves any rights that they do not already have by default. Administrative access is required to install. update, or configure the operating system and components, such as device drivers.

Due to the fact I will be posting other questions regarding Administrative rights I am not going to explain the other definitions.
