| I go for D because publishing doesn't make any shortcuts on the desktop. The user must install the program from add/remove programs or it will be automatically installed when the user tries to open a file related to the application deployed.

| And the answer is .....
Firstly it cannot be D as applications can only be published to users not computers.
Secondly it cannot be A as when software is assigned to a user the new program is advertised when the user logs on.
Software assigned to a computer is not advertised and Published applications to users are not advertised. As the question asks that the software be deployed to computers I would put the answer as B - Assign applications to Computers.
Otherwise B & C

| Software that is assigned to a user has a shortcut appear on a user's Start > Programs menu, but is not installed until the first time they use it.
Software assigned to a computer is installed the next time the user logs on regardless of whether or not they run it.
When software is assigned to a user, the new program is advertised when a user logs on, but is not installed until the user starts the application from an icon or double-clicks a file-type associated with the icon.
Software assigned to a computer is not advertised - the software is installed automatically. When software is assigned to a computer it can only be removed by a local administrator - users can repair software assigned to computers, but not remove it.
....so the answer is B | |

| Have to go with B. When it is assigned to a computer, the application is automatically installed when the computer is started, no matter what user logs in. | |
