| This is the correct question:
Q21. You are the administrator of ACPI-compliant Pentium III computers running Windows 2000 Professional.
You want to achieve these results:
1. Schedule disk defragmentation to occur during nonworking hours.
2. Ensure that computers in Sleep mode are also defragmented.
3. Setup the same disk defragmentation maintenance task on other Windows 2000 Professional computers in the workgroup.
4. Prevent users from manually running a scheduled task that you create.
Your proposed solution is as follows:
1. Use the Scheduled Task Wizard to create a task to defragment the disk during nonworking hours.
2. Select the Wake The Computer To Run This Task check box.
3. Copy the scheduled task to all other Windows 2000 Professional computers in the workgroup.
4. Use the Security tab in the Scheduled Task Wizard Advanced Options dialog box to set the appropriate permissions for the task on each computer in the workgroup.
Which results does your proposed solution provide? (Choose all that apply)
A. Disk defragmentation is scheduled to occur during nonworking hours.
B. Computers in Sleep mode are also defragmented.
C. The same disk defragmentation task occurs on other Windows 2000 Professional computers in the workgroup.
D. Disk Defragmenter cannot be scheduled.
Again sorry for any inconvenience!!

| I say the answer is D, Disk Defragmenter cannot be scheduled
You can schedule the dfrg.msc to start, but not the actual defragmentation to start.

| errrm....im going with D that it cant be defraged, but also thinking about C, as your admin, will the task be copied to all the computers?...its a workgroup and thus you must have the account on every machine, and that is not mentioned, it just says admin of one machine.......erm....ill go with D... | |

| I will choose C.
In step 4 he states that he sets the permission for each computer in the workgroup to run the task.
I am not sure what program you would have to schedule, but I think it should be defrag.exe
ALso, would you be able to schedule a batch file to run at a certain time. That way you could give the awnsers needed for any programs
