| I'm new to this forum, just finished my Net+ yesterday. I am wondering for the MCSE is 2000 still current? or have they added XP? What is the time table for adding XP so I have an idea of how much time I have and or where to start.
thanks | |

| apparently there are now two tracks: .NET and Win2K. 210 for Win2K and 270 for .NET
I don't think that the Win2K track is obsolete, if that's your question.
Let us know if we can help out, and congrats again on the pass | |

| Welcome to the 210 forum!
The MCSE in 2000 is still current, and I expect to stay current for a little while at least.
I believe I saw somewhere that Microsoft is now offering the .NET track.
As to what to take between 70-210(Win2k Professional) and 70-270(Windows XP), most people I've talked to are making their decisions based on the direction their work environments are taking.
I'm not sure about any timetable, but hopefully someone else will chime in with their feedback soon. |
