Author study books

Hi everyone, I'm moving on to 70-210 and am curious as to what the prefered choice of books are. I'm leaning toward Mike Meyers since I used him for A+ and Net+ and like his "to the point" concept but I have seen others out there that seem pretty decent. My employer is buying the books so money isn't an issue but I would like something that's easy to understand and easy to follow which is why I'm thinking about Mike Meyers. Please help!

If this is the case, explain to your employer that it would be extremely beneficial to obtain a couple of books for different author perspectives. Its not entirely unreasonable request and will most likely increase your chances of passing with two sources of information. My previous employer paid for my initial certification books (two different books each for A+, Network+, 70-210 and 70-270).

Most members here will recommend the Microsoft Training Kits and that you do all the exercises contained within. Its more like "straight from the horses mouth" kind of thing. I've heard a couple of positive commens about the Mike Meyer's MCSA book, but its nowhere near the popularity of his A+. However, his style of writing remains the same.

I just passed 70-210 yesterday. I used Exam Prep and Sybex. I thought Exam Prep is better for W2K PRO. I also used Transcender. It is good. However, the most important tool is the Technet site & the Doucumentation Site in Microsoft's WEB-SITE. I read them in last few days before the exam. I found that I learnt more things than any books. Especially, now MCSE request you to have very detail knowledge and those commands and Options in those properties page.
Nearly all questions had 2 very similar answers with the same meanings and only one word different but same meaning.
So read the Technet and Documentation in Microsoft site and do experiment following the 2 sites.

Good Luck,

Henry

Thanks to both of you for the information. I'm new to this forum and have spent most of my time with the Net+ forum so I'm not real current with the recommendations of books for this exam.
