| Happy Friday!!
Slinky is a network administrator supporting 60 users currently running Windows NT 4.0 Workstation and he is planning to deploy Windows 2000 Professional on these 60 computers.
Slinky needs to ensure that the existing computer hardware is compatible with Windows 2000. Which method(s) can he use to generate a hardware compatibility report? (Choose all that apply)
A. Download and run chkupgrd.exe
B. Run mkcompat.exe from the root of the Windows 2000 installation CD-Rom.
C. Run winnt32 /checkupgrade from the i386 folder of the Windows 2000 installation CD-Rom.

| Would agree with Deja. Answer (A) and (D) will generate the report. | |

| I would have to say (A) and (D) although I don't think you can get the chkupgrd.exe any more from the microsoft site. I at least haven't been able to find it | |

A. Correct: The CHKUPGRD.EXE program is the Windows 2000 Readiness Analyzer self-extracting utility available for download from the Microsoft Web site.
B. Incorrect: The MKCOMPAT.EXE program is a Windows 95 utility for troubleshooting problems running Windows 3.1-based programs in Windows 95.
C. Incorrect: The winnt32 /checkupgrade syntax is incorrect.
D. Correct: Typing the 32-bit Windows 2000 setup routine with the /checkupgradeonly switch included runs the Microsoft Windows 2000 Readiness Analyzer Wizard.
