I was somewhat dissapointed in how few of the questions I got on the exam games for 210. My question to those who have taken it already is how many questions do they have soley on terminology and concepts of the bootup process and inner workings of the os like are in the current exam game are in the real thing?

Not being condescending to you whatsoever.
But if these "Exam Games" aren't an automatic no brainer to answer, keep studying.

I could get 8 out of 10 of them right, about every time. Same on the study questions & Transcenders I had. I got 82% of the actual exam right when I sat for it.

The thing is I'm getting about 75% on practice exams, getting most of the daily questions right, I even did pretty well on previous exam games. I'm talking about the currently running 70 210 game. Its about 90% about OS terminology and concepts. I know the general boot process and boot.ini arc entries pretty well, but some of the questions I hadn't read about anywhere before. So I was wondering specifically if anyone had questions like that.

Very few of that nature. 2 I think

If you know them & don't miss the first ones given you, the test will move on to something else. The adaptives are basicly head hunting for your weeknesses.

What I was surprised about, was the number of server related questions. Right off the 70-215 test. Far past the general connectivity that I had expected.

Cheep advice>
I would do a copy & paste of all the daily questions that either gave me problems or I missed, & looked them up IN DEPTH . Once you thoroughly understand the concepts, all you have to do is decipher the wording of the questions on the test. Quite a few are intentionally worded not to make sense, to see if you understand the concept presented. I find the M$ exams more like this word game format than any other vendor. Plus they are poorly worded quite often.

i would suggest doing this for all exams. prior to my a+, my text books were bulging with stuff copied and pasted from various websources (plus the comptia objectives). my network+ textbooks look like they are doing the same, and i will continue to do so should i decide to take m$ exams.

while the practise questions and exam quizzes may have the same authors as those questions on cert21, it is believed by many that the questions may be harder than those in the actual exams.

good luck
