Hi Ron,

Welcome to the forum. I like MS Press. If you like to read try the resource kit for windows 2000 professional. It is quite lengthy, but the only book you will need. I used this book as a "second opinion" It filled in the gaps. I mainly used MS Press Core 70-210 books. As I mentioned in my post below, I used Transcenders as well to extend my knowledge. Make sure you have lots of hands on knowledge.

I have used Sybex on occasion for other certs and found them to be good as well. I am not sure how good they are for the 70-210 test. Good luck!

Either the books by MS Press or the New Rider's series. I didn't care for the books by Sybex for this.

I used MS Press and two computers for a home lab to do the exercises in the books.

Best of luck to you and welcome to the forums.

Welcome to the boards deltree. Having a simple home network would be extremely helpful for doing the lab exercises out of the Microsoft books. Would recommend going through the MS Press books and then another book for a second perspective on things. It helps to flesh out the concepts. And look into participating in the Question of the Day threads. Good luck.

Be careful with the QoD's. Answer it wrong and you might get whacked like namrak.

Welcome to the forum deltree! Get a MS Press book, practice as much as you can in your lab and you won't have problems with this exam. Good luck!
