Recently the place I volunteer atSalem Cyber Space had 5 PII 400mhz PC's
donated. I booted one up and it has windows 2000 loaded great!

Ok here is the problem. There doesn't seem to be any way to the get password for these.
I attempted a reinstall from boot disks and CD when I hit enter to run setup it says that it can't find the End User License Agreement and can not continue.
The eula.txt file is indeed on the CD under i386 directory.
I was wondering if this has anything to with the fact that Windows 2000 is already loaded. I have used the same CD to upgrade
a win98SE machine and to installed it on an blank hard drive without any problems.

Any Ideas?

Thanks

hmmmm.. just wipe the Drive clean and install a fresh copy of Windows 2000 ?

that would be the easy way out.
To crack the password you would need a utility like the Winternals CD or the like.

I'm in agreement with Deja. Just wipe the drive(s) clean and/or start a new install with a Win2K bootable CD. Don't worry about the old information on there since its most likely of no use to your organization anyway. Good luck.

Thanks for the feedback.

Any idea why it is giving me this error?

Thanks.
