| Here's a quickie for you......
NetChild is working on an NT4 workstation that is logged into a Windows 2000 domain. He is accessing a Windows 2000 file server.
NetChild calls you stating that he can't make files available for offline usage.
What is the problem? (Select the best choice)
A. The file server is not configured to allow caching of files in the shared folder.
B. The offline files and folders is not available on the Windows NT4 operating system.
C. NetChild has not enabled offline files from the offline tab in the folder options dialog box.
D. The Active Directory client needs to be installed on NetChild's Windows NT4 workstation.
Good luck and see you tomorrow for the answer!

No, I'm working on W2K Spid! NT4 is a history for me and I'll never come back to this OS. Anyway, I'd say "B" as well.

| It had to be B, which does not, coincidentally, stand for Briefcase. | |

And the answer is.....B
Under Windows NT4 (whether that be Server or Workstation), the offline files and folders feature is not available.
Just a side note, a Windows 2000 computer can make files and folders available for offline use from a Windows NT 4 Server or Workstation. |
