| Hi,
I passed on the 4th. And i found alot of questions related to shared resources and installation. However, i dont know how often these exams change so a solid understanding of all the exam objectives is a definate bonus.

I sat my 70-210 for the first time yesterday and failed.
You have given me the encouragement to keep on going.
Any tips on study guides or method would be appreciated. | |

| Hi,
I'm sorry to here you failed your exam Gazzabob. The prep i used was to take my time and study at my leisure. Don't rush into taking the exam (I canceled and rebooked this exam for a later date because i felt i wasen't ready). The material i used was MOC 2151 and 2152 along with the MCSE study guide. I used Transcender to get a feel for the type of questions.
To tell you the truth i found the first 30 questions fairly easy, but the last 31 i found difficult, so much so i was expecting to fail. No matter what anyone says about this exam it is NOT easy, but i'm sure you will pass next time, at least you know what to expect.

I too have taken the MOC 2151 & 2152.
When you say the MSCE study guide is that the Microsoft Study guide - I used Sybex but the exam did relate much to the coursebook more real world senario's.
I will look at Transender - does this cost? | |

| I just have to say thanks Maelstrom-se
for the advice. I am currently enrolled in a Microsoft 2000 class and working two jobs and study when I get the chance. For awhile I felt pressured to take my exams but wasn't ready. After reading your post I realized that I can't rush it and have rescheduled my exam from Friday to next week. |
