| Today the answer of practise Q confused me:
Question ID:70210q548.
After you masterfully answered Allison's last question about the content of a user's profile, she has asked you yet another question relating to user profiles. You are beginning to wonder if she actually does any reading on her own. This time, Allison wants to know where on a Windows 2000 Professional computer the user profiles will be located. Which of the following statements truthfully answers this question?
A) If it was a clean installation of Windows 2000 Professional, user profiles will be found at %SYSTEMDRIVE%\Documents and Settings; for example, C:\Documents and Settings.
B) If it was an upgrade installation from Windows 95 or Windows 98, user profiles will be found at %SYSTEMDRIVE%\Documents and Settings; for example, C:\Documents and Settings.
C) If it was a clean installation of Windows 2000 Professional, user profiles will be found at %SYSTEMROOT%\Profiles; for example, C:\WinNT\Profiles.
D) If it was an upgrade of Windows NT 4.0 Workstation to Windows 2000 Professional, user profiles will be found at %SYSTEMROOT%\Profiles; for example, C:\WinNT\Profiles.
E) If it was an upgrade of Windows NT 3.51 Workstation to Windows 2000 Professional, user profiles will be found at %SYSTEMROOT%\Profiles; for example, C:\WinNT\Profiles.
my answer was: ABDE
-------------------------------
on the website the answer: BD
Explanation:
The default location for user profiles in Windows 2000 Professional is the %SYSTEMDRIVE%\\Documents and Settings location, except when the installation is an upgrade from Windows NT 4.0 Workstation, in which case the location will be the %SYSTEMROOT%\\Profiles location.
