| HumpDay! Yeah! Halfway through another week, and it's all downhill from here (well hopefully anyways )
Pavlov, who is studying feverishly for her 70-221 exam, has a Windows 2000 laptop computer. She needs to access some study material resources she placed on her corporate network and would like to enable a VPN connection between her laptop system and the corporate LAN. Everything is configured properly for a VPN connection at the corporate office.
How would Pavlov create her VPN connection so she will be able to remotely connect to her corporate network?
A. Pavlov needs to download and install a third party VPN software solution because Windows 2000 Professional is not capable of creating a VPN connection natively.
B. In Control Panel, Pavlov should open the Network and Dial-Up Connections applet. Right Click on the network adapter that she will be using and choose Make New Connection from the menu. Select the Connect to a private network through the Internet option.
C. In Control Panel, Pavlov should open the Network and Dial-Up Connections applet. She should start the Network Connection Wizard by double-clicking on Make New Connection and select the Connect to a private network through the Internet option.
D. In Control panel, Pavlov should open the My Network places applet. She should start the Add Network place Wizard by double-clicking on Add Network place and select the connect to a private network through the Internet option.
Good luck and see you tonight or tomorrow for the answer! | |

And the answer is.....C
Pretty self-explanatory. Pavlov should follow the steps lined out in answer C to create the VPN connection. |
