| Although I have never used "boot camps" as a method of learning, I have heard a lot from some Engineers I work with....2 of them have recently attended a one-week session for MCSE 2000. Both have years of experience, but they failed the test. I also worked with a very bright, younger (25) tech, who actually has no problem with them...but he is the type who studies the material thorougly (books read, videos watched, study and study and study after hours, practices hands-on)and then goes for the class...he even passed his CCNA.I guess if you have the discipline and time for intensive studying,go for it... it would be for you to decide what is best for you. I am taking it slow..going to school, got my A+, reviewing for Net+ and I-Net+...starting MCSE soon. Hope this helps...good luck...Charmaine | |

| I dont know much about bootcamps? Is it the 2 week thing? If so, I recommend something a little bit longer where you can learn the stuff instead of just being told the answers. JMO though | |

| Bootcamp is really best for those that have lots of hands-on experience and just want a quick "refresher" and that final push to take the exam(s)!
If you think you are going to learn much by going to bootcamp you will be "sadly" mistaken, it is cram-it down your throat and "regurgitate" for the exam and then you forget it.
The slow way is the better way, then you are going to remember it when you are on the job where it counts. Nobody likes a "paper" MCSE on the job, so don't waste your money!! Buy some books, setup a home network lab and practise, break and fix till your ready for the test! | |

| I have know several people who have used boot camps for MCSE under the advertisement of "MCSE in 4 Weeks." This has now changed to "Earn MCP or MCSE in 4 Weeks" says it all really!! |
