| As an instructor, I got a huge discount for the $ 8,000 dollar course. Actually, I had an $ 8,000 dollar discount. If you must know, I had an $8,000 discount. My college even paid for all the $250.00 books with the e-learning cds. THEY EVEN PAID FOR ME TO TAKE THE EXAMS.
I spent nothing. NOT ONE CENT. And, if you are an experienced computer user like me, you would know how to get transender, troytech, exam essentials and others for free.
As for the people who respond that they became a MCSE in one day, I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT AN ACCELERATED TEST. I passed 70-210,70-215,70-216,70-217,70-219,70-220, and 70-221 in 8 DAYS.
IF IT WASN'T FOR SUNDAY, IT WOULD HAVE BEEN 7 DAYS!
By the way, I did not use troytech, exam essentials, or transcender, even though I have them all.

| ARE YOU OK!!!
WHY ARE YOU DEFENDING THIS MATTER
IT TOOK YOU 7DAYS....GOOD JOB
IT COST YOU NOTHING....GREAT, YOUR BLESSED DID YOU THANK GOD?
AND YOU DID NOT USE TROYTECH, TRANSCENDER OR EXAM ESSENTIALS....GOOD FOR YOU
|
| Great, good for you.
Personally, time to complete a certification track is irrelevant (IMHO), I could care less if you obtained your MCSE in 8 minutes.
I hit the bullseye (1000/1000) on 4 out of the 6 MCSE NT certification exams I took last year. So what? who cares? A pass is a pass, and I'm sure there are plenty of people did better than me. Bottom line, I set a goal for myself and I completed that goal. Hooray, one down, 257 more goals to go before I pass away.
My point, it doesn't make a hill of beans difference how fast you obtain a certification or how high you score on a test. What you retain and how you can apply that knowledge in the work place is all that really matters in the long run. (Again,IMHO)
Hopefully you will find it in yourself to constructively contribute to this forum and assist other people in their pursuit of certification as opposed to posting about how you could have accomplished your goal in 7 days as opposed to 8 because of a Sunday.
I congratulate you, as well as anyone else, in your ability to set a goal for yourself and obtain that goal.
With Best Intentions. | |

| I second what Spid said. Passing tests is great, means you have something to put on the old resume, tho you don't put your score on the resume and, aside from bragging rights, the scores themself don't mean much. A pass is a pass, good job, keep it up, and apply your knowledge to something constructive. |
