| Heard a lot of people complaining about Sybex on 70-210. | |

| Run like the wind to return it. I picked it up for the 210 before I knew better and tried to use it since Sybex had always been great. Not on these. They skim over stuff you really need to know for the test (command console for one) I used it for a while and gave up. I do recommend Exam Cram and Exam Prep combination and MS 210 study guide (its dry but its all there)
I did not use Examdrill ( it was not out )
but I have heard good things about it.
Pick up Troytech for the study guide it is a big help.
Best of luck

| I'm uncertain about Exam Cram 'cause I found mistakes there. The book is not around me so I can't point it out right now. I'll quote it tomorrow after my 210 exam (very nervous now, shaky hands...) I use CBT nuggets(highly recommand) you can go to their site and watch some demos. I also use Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional Resource Kit. It is way better than the MicroSoft training kit and it seems a book written for human. Worth trying! | |

| Thanks Techie Guys, I definitely will return this book today at lunch time. I will get EXAMCRAM instead (I used their books for A+ and NETWORK+), hey there was another book too, but it was by MICROSOFT ...
but now I am a little weary about that. ExamCram is the definite choice I guess for now. Take care and thanks again all. | |

| I recommend MS Press as your main book, and ExamCram as an add-on. | |

| what about the 6 volume server resource kit from microsoft? is that any good? is that pretty much for all 7 tests? | |

| The mcse professional from the core training kit was my first book on mcse. Though it says it's for beginners, it successfully got me totally confused. Furhter, when I look back after the exam, I feel very lucky that I don't rely on this book for the exam.
The Professional resource kit, says for IT professional though, is logically arranged and well written. It covers all the areas of the exam in sufficient depth; and I'm sure I'll refer to it again and again if I may get a system administrator job in the future.
I got the server kit after my 210 exam. I like it very much. It helps me get through 215 and my preparation to 216 (exam on this Thursday). As to whether it may help the other 2 (remember there are 5 cores and 2 electives), since I gave up the core after server it would be inappropreate to answer. You can find out more from this links:

| I had used the Sybex guide for 210 and 215. But they aren't enough 4 passing the exam.
