| Hi ppl
Can anybody teach me about Printing over the internet ? Let see if I would like to print a document from my location to a person over the internet. Do I have to install his/her printer driver before I can print ?

| In your Web browser, type the URL of the Internet Printer to which you would like to send your document (you may have to ask your Administrator for this information).
Once you are connected, under the Printer Actions area, click Connect. The Printer driver is then installed on your computer
Note – In order to send documents to an Internet Print server, the server requires Windows 2000 as its operating system.

| You should also know these other facts about Internet printing:
=> The print server can be either a Windows 2000 server box running Internet Information server (IIS) OR a Windows 2000 professional box running Personal web server (PWS).
=> All shared printers can be viewed by typing the URL:
http://Printerserve/printers.
=> you can then choose then choose the printer you want, choose action -> connect.
The printer drivers will be automatically installed.
Hope that helped.
