| Just curious,
Does anybody know how to set restrictions on a certain user of a computer account to not allow IE access (Internet browsing, etc)? For example, not allowing the user named test to browse the internet?
I tried right clicking on IE and found now info on restricting access to the app. Is there any other way to restrict access?
thanks in advance! | |

| Hmmm...If you want to totally deny them access to Internet Explorer, just set explicit permissions on iexplore.exe. This is assuming you formatted as NTFS, of course.
Just a thought. Hope this helps. | |

| Just go to the Local Security Policy in the Administrative Tools folder, look up the thread on Internet Explorer and set up the permissions that you want. Once you get to the Local Security Policy console, it's pretty self-explanatory. |
