For Win2k Pro:

Pentium 133MHz or better
64MB of Ram
2GB of Hard Drive space
VGA or better

Hope this helps.

Actually, Microsoft says that you need:

Pent 133 or higher.

64megs of ram. Microsoft originally said you can run Pro with 32megs of Ram. I don't know why they changed their requirements, because you can load Pro and run with 32. I'm doing it now.

You only need 650 megs of Free space on the hard disk. Microsoft recommends 1GB (2GB for server). Their system requirements is for only 650 MB though.

You need either a CD rom, or a network share with some bootable network client (either disk or preinstalled OS).

Allow room to apply service packs. You will need the room.Deploying these is neccessary to support most products especially MS.
