Can anyone help me on repairing or replacing a broken battery clip on the motherboard; I was trying to repair a pc and in doing so I extended the battry clip too far and well you know it snapped; please don't tell that I will have to replace the entire motherbaord please.

Could you solder a external Battery to the Board?
Or,if you have some old Motherboards around,try un-soldering the Battery-clip from them to get some "Practice".
You have to be very good with the Soldering-gun,wich has to be regulated.Too much Voltage going through the Board will kill it.Good Luck!

Or maybe there might be a connector for an external battery, seen them on some older mobos
