hi folks,

I've just done the Transcender Windows Pro exam and got a tragic 600/1000. What are your opinions regarding transcenders. Will I do a lot better in the real thing, worse or the same?

many thanks.

regards.

Nad.

I haven't tried Transcender, however it is relatively good in comparison to TroyTec and other "exams".

If you are going to use this method, please get a book to compare (Exam Prep/Cram and Microsoft Press are good examples). The forum can give you a good list if you ask them!

The one thing that I've learned is not to rely on one source when it involves Microsoft ... they can hit you below the belt on the exams if you don't watch out.

I used transcenders for all my NT exams and I found they where pretty dead on to the type/level of difficulty of the real exam. Even server in the enterprise which was killer.

I used trancenders for my 70-210 test and they were good. I got prob. about 80% of the questions that were in the trancenders on my test, but they where reworded differently. I suggest that you just use this as a judge to see if you are ready for the test. Read some books first like MS training kit and exam cram. Then follow up with the trancenders. Another thing that I do is I take a trancender test and when it is finished I print out all of the answers I got wrong. Then I take my books I specificlly study the topic of each question I got wrong. Ok enough rambling . Just me 2 cents

We are high on transcenders here at work. Transcenders are great for studying and they give you an explanation of why the right answers are right and the wrong answers are wrong. As with any self-test, there is a gotcha. DON'T get in the mode of taking the tests and saying "oh, that one is C, or that one is "D", etc. Just because you pass the test on Transcenders doesn't mean you know why you passed it. It is my suggestion to work with the Transcenders, pass the tests, then take those skills and take other self-tests to match what you have learned on other tests that are worded differently. It is almost guaranteed that you will see something on other self-tests you did not know.

Trancender is good but use other materials also ... troytec, braindumps and etc.

Warning: extra careful in using braindumps. verify all the answers.

I used the mcse training kit en did all the hands on exercises , i used transcenders and measure up in study mode and then took the certification mode when you score 90% or higher, you are ready to take the real exam.
Don't expect the same questions on the real exam as in the transcenders , studie and also practice a lot

Hi,nadimaj
My advice is to try Easy Cert.
I used it in preparation and I got excellent results.( all above 900 )
The questions from my tests was all in easycert and there was no problem for me to take all the exams from the first time. May be there are other good stuffs out there, but after those results my opinion is that every one who want to get the exam without any trouble shoud try Easy Cert.
At last I want to say that I'M NOT WORKING FOR THEM just I'm a bid fan.

I passed 70-210, today...with a 720. I used the transcenders, braindumps and the MCSE study guide book. The questions on my test I had seen in the transcenders, but wordered differntly...Don't rely on just the transcenders, though. You'll do fine...I was averging between 650-800 on the transcenders and got a 720 on the real exam.
