| I'm very happy to have just passed 70-210. However, I just about had a heart attack in the process! I was having a having a hard time with my 16th question when suddenly a message popped on my screen "There is no response. This test will be terminated. OK." I looked at this dialog rather stunned. What is that? Did I take to long to answer this question, or what? Not wanting to blow away my test, I did not click ok, ran down the hallway and found the site manager who said he'd never seen anything like that before. He called Prometric who said that the pc must have lost contact with their server. We had to reboot the Win98 box 2x before we could reconnect to Prometric and restart my test. Had to answer the 2 preliminary surveys again. Fortunately my progress was saved and I was able to pick up where I left off. Flustered, it took me a bit to get settled down. Just as I was about to record my response, the error occurred again! I had just about had it. They said it's not possible to cancel the test and take it another day. I was worried about the time as I had to get my wife to the airport later. By the time we'd rebooted, answered the surveys and got back to the questions, 20 minutes had passed. I battled my way thru the questions and was relieved to finally pass with a 780. In addition to this mess, Prometric gave me wrong directions to the testing site. You gotta be mentally prepared for more that W2K when you take these tests! |
