120 min.
540 > Pass
50 questions

My Score: 500 7/17/01

I tossed and turned the night before and could not get but a couple hours sleep. My first mistake was to schedule things I had to do around that time and when I got up I took a couple of (legal herbs) to help wake me up but I drank alot of water before entering the center. I think I was doing ok until the middle when my bodily functions were scolding me for drinking too much water. At the last part I sort of rushed through it and still had 30 min. left on the clock, I knew that some answers especially pertaining to security needed to be changed but, it was either do that and end up soaking the chair and my pants and be a total embaracement in front of strangers or come back and spend another hundred bucks. Well as you can see you know wich one I chose.
So the morale of the story is to double check your knowledge and water consumption before entering the test center. Don't schedule things before or after. Loosing sleep is nothing you can do about though because your already pass the 24 hour window to cancel.

So today's Poll questions is Would you embarrace yourself in front of strangers just to possibly pass a test and save yourself a hundred bucks?

I usually just get up and go to the toilet, the supervisors don't seem to mind.

Better pee than rush and fail!!

I thought would have been against the rules so to speak to just leave the test center temporarily, Like if leaving the room would end the test, that's why I didn't.

Oh well next test tomorrow at 2PM, I went back to study some material I wasn't sure about..... wish me luck guys at this point I need all the luck I can get.

Anybody else been in that situation when testing let us know.

I was pretty pissed in the beginning about the whole day's situation but, does it ever really help in getting back on track again to give it another go... NO
So after getting back home and calming down some and thinking about it I about laughed myself out of the chair, it's only money you can't take it with you when you die.. some people try though and we need to have a good laugh in here somewhere before we all turn into wild crazy animals even if it is at my own expense.

Happy Testing!

I don't see what the big deal is here. You can always wash your pants for cheaper than a hundred bucks.

That's true and another thing is it was so hot and my AC is broken in my car my pants would have been dry by the time I make my next scheduled appointment, just spray a little air freshener on there from the trunk so it doesn't smell so bad when it dries.

Go for a walk to dry out. Besides, you do this a few times and they probably won't give you any trouble about allowing you to use the bathroom next time.

I guess I could always use a different test center too.

Hey Randy, Thanks for the laughs but, I got to compose myself and get back to the book crunching so I can pass this test in a couple hours. Have a good day.

You could always try out those Depends undergarments. I wonder how well those would work in the event of a bodily function crisis.

Good luck to you on the test WebMan!

They work pretty good for No.1 anyway . . . I always carry a spare box of 'em around with me!

The same thing happened to me, actually, although I was pretty lucky and passed the exam that I was taking. This was back when I was taking the NT 4.0 track, on either the TCP/IP exam or the NT Server 4.0 exam.

My problem was that my stomach wasn't very happy with me.. possibly nerves. So I would have to vote no for obvious reasons. Anyhow, I was cruising through the last questions at about 10 seconds per question.

Each time I took an exam after that, I made sure that wasn't going to be a problem. Good luck on the retest!

Now this was one topic I didn't expect to encounter in an IT forum!

A good laugh goes a long way, though I don't think I'd have been able to admit to anyone that I didn't pass the test because I "had to go" and couldn't concentrate. lol
