Dual Boot Removal?

| My laptop was running Win 98 I installed 2000 Pro by way of “Clean Installation”. Now I want to remove Win 98 and the boot menu. What would be the best way to accomplish this? I removed the Windows directory but still get the boot menu. | |

| The boot menu is in the BOOT.INI file. It is a hidden, system, read-only file, so you have to attrib it before editing. You will notice that it references a file C:\BOOTSEC.DOS or similar. You can delete that file too.
