Hi fellows:
I originally wanted to start out with Win2000 server but realized that it makes more sense to do the Pro first. Anyway, I bought the Syngess Osborne book for the exam. Is this a good book to read or should I look for alternatives? I hate the Microsoft Press ones. They are dull, boring and the issues are not very well explained.

What do you guys think?

Thanks,

The Syngress books for the w2k studies are pretty good. Has labs, Cd-rom w/test and simulations. I use Syngress, Cramsession, and Sybex in conjunction w/ other study aid's.

Good luck,

That's one of the books I am using. I looked up some of the reviews at Amazon, and it seems that most of the reviews are staggered at either end of the spectrum. Some love it and some hate it. I haven't started reading mine yet, I am waiting to finish my HP-UX before moving on to Win2K Pro.

TREX,

I’m using the Syngress book and would recommend it along with Exam Cram and Troytec.

In my opinion Troy Tec is a must have when you get down to the wire. It is a 68 or so page study guide with sample test questions. You can order it here

www.troytec.com

$29.00 for 1 well worth the price. Money back if you fail. What can you loose?

I guess I have another question....last one for today though ;0)

In one of the comments on Amazon.com about the Osborne book is that there are quite a few mistakes in it. I was wondering if anybody knew, if they published a list of corrections, just like Microsoft does for its books. And if so, where would I be able to look it up?

Thanks once again,
