Thank you for the kind words. It is a pleasure to help out such a nice crowd -- not to mention all the times the nice crowd in question helped me out

Great! I am happy it was of assistance. I really do like their products. High quality download for free is a great concept, isn't it?

I just recalled several posting at brainbuzz about the beach front quizzer that is offered free by freak. Not sure whether that is true but it is worth to see different opinion, I am not against freak but looking at the comments at the following site, I am afraid that you may waste your time, you should try it out carefully since there are many notorious comments about this product.

Hmm...Thanks for the info but most of the complaints seemed to be regarding spelling and grammar. I know a lot of smart technical people that can not spell well or type well. Regarding phone calls, I now live in Germany and I don't think they'll be calling me because I didn't give my #.

What I'm concerned about is Technical accuracy and although I'm sure it is not perfect because it is in some form of a beta mode - I'm confident it must be pretty darn good or Freak wouldn't have recommended it - Am I right Freak ? ?

If the BeachFront people call you, just tell them you are looking to get UNIX certified . . . they will let you go in a hurry!

Or give them vodafone, BT or any other mobile company support hand phone numbers that are expensive to call haha =P.

Well, I got a call from one of the blokes earlier today, and when I told him I was concentrating on my HP-UX, he dropped me in a hurry! Their salesmen are a bit too aggresive for my liking. Anyway, maybe the tip will help someone.

as far as I am concerned, this is a free product of quality that is available as a download to us. If they want to call me, I do not have a problem with it... There is plenty of free info all over the web, but the technical accuracy is not always there. Free should not be synonymous with poor quality, and this is a fine example of a company trying to get more exposure, while giving away a true product at the same time, thus making their advertising effort more than just a publicity thing. They are also trying to give you some quality in return -- and I hope that many more prep test companies will learn from that initiative.

too much notorious stories about the product that freak promotes, anyway check it out and judge yourself whether what freak comments are for marketing purposes without concerning the benefit to forumers.

I guess I should take offense to this, but I would hope that my 2300+ posts on these boards speak for themselves... if not, then why bother come here and attempt to help out?

All others are fine, but this one I am not agree and I have to say something. I think it is fair that I comment somehting with references but not simply put a negative comment. I am one of the beach front victim

Did you actually download this quizzer and use it? Did you download the others, and use them? Or did you just decide to come here and basically insult me and denigrate my integrity?
I tried to give something to the members of this forum. If you don't like it, fine. But at least, try it first. Using someone else's opinion of another product, no less, hardly qualifies you to call me out like that.
When is the last time you tried to bring something of value for free for all users to make the most out of? What have you done for this board that makes you the champion of the "beach front victims", as you like to call them?
I think that you are out of line, and it is my right to call YOU on that.
I would welcome your opinion -- not someone else's whom you have probably never met, and that you took out of context...

BFQ in my opinion, is a quality product. I see nothing wrong with it technically. I was just saying that if you don't like getting calls from them, they can be easily fended off. I've used their products before and in general, it seems like a good deal to me. Bottom line is, if you d/l it from freak's site, it's FREE!
