Do you have any space left for another partition? If you do then create another partition while booting up your W2k Setup CD and then install a fresh copy of w2k to the new partition. Make sure that you never convert your system partition for W98 to NTFS or otherwise your Win98 will fail.

If your laptop do not have space left for second partition, then get partition magic from powerquest and adjust your hard drive to get some free space for another partition then create another partition while booting up your W2k Setup CD and then install a fresh copy of w2k to the new partition. Make sure that you never convert your system partition for W98 to NTFS or otherwise your Win98 will fail.

Hope this help.
