I haven't taken the exam yet but I would like to share my experiences with you. For study guides, or books, I heard that sybex book is good, also, you may find the cram session of some help (get it free from http://www.brainbuzz.com/ ) For practice test, there are some good one but depending on your budget, if you can afford go http://www.transcender.com , http://www.certify.com also offer some good practice test at around 60, and finally http://www.itexams.co.uk offer some good practice test at 15. Hope this help.

Sybex is good. Microsoft Press is good. The online docs are excellent at: http://windows.microsoft.com/window...fessional/help/
The resource Kit is invaluable.
MCSEguide has some good E-mail practice questions at: http://www.mcseguide.com/questday/quest.htm

Most importantly there is no substitution for hands on.

I liked the Syngress book a lot. I also used the CramSession notes which were nice to 'cram' with. I was also fortunate enough to have access to Transcenders, which were helpful too. Basically, any of the books mentioned are good, but diversify your materials a bit if you can--some materials cover/explain certain aspects better than others.

Good luck.
