Hi everyone,

Ive just signed up for the forum. I am 17, living in the UK and in about a month I will be completing my course at college. I have decided to reject my uni offers and to go for an MCSE. Do you think this is wise?

Anyway Ive got 6 months before I have to get a job (My old dear would send me up the chimneys if they still allowed it.) so Im gonna study from home and try to finnish it in the 6 months.

Do you think its possible to pass the core elements using internet sources alone? oh could somebody post a list of good study sites they know plz, this would be very helpful to get me started.

thanks,

James

Welcome James,

I'm new to this site as well, as I have just passed the Network+ exam and am starting my studies for mcse now. To address your question, I don't think you should attempt this without some significant source of material outside the online world. In my experience, the net is awesome, as a suppliment. But I would never attempt to prepare for an exam like this without some serious resource material. Good luck.
