| Came across this qustion:
Larry attempts to view tasks that are running on a remote Windows 2000 server from his Windows 2000 desktop. He is unable to view the tasks that are running. What might be the cause of this problem?
A. Windows 2000 Server does not allow for remote viewing or managing of tasks.
B. The messenger service is not running on the Windows 2000 Server.
C. Larry does not have administrative rights on the Windows 2000 Server.
D. Larry needs to log on as the person whose username tasks are scheduled to run under.
Answer - C
Remote tasks can be viewed on a remote computer if you have administrative rights on that computer.
Can anyone tell me how to remotely view another machines active applications and tasks (Task Manager)? Is this possible? |
